Progress has been pretty good... BooBoo sits and can (and often does) pull to standing :) Peanut is 2 and acts like it - a total delight one moment and a terror the next. Being a full time Mommy can be very stressful sometimes, but life is pretty good. Peanut and I go to swimming class and have a regular playgroup, and BooBoo loves when it's quiet and cuddles abound.
On the gaming front, I played Final Fantasy XIII-2 all the way though and got all the achievements, started a Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness file that Peanut insists has a 2nd player (she's darling with a PS2 controller next to Mommy with my Gamecube controller) and we're "making a Puppy team" ... I don't know how well it's going to work out, but it's worth a shot to make her happy... I've paused my journeys through FF12 and Hyrule (TP) for now and picked up Rune Factory 4. The biggest problems with that game is that if Peanut gets my 2DS, she could send me to the doctor and take all my money in it and that I still don't know who to date. On the other hand, it isn't in real time, which is a huge plus over Animal Crossing: New Leaf since time is in short supply and I'd rather kiss my kids and take them to go play than spend it all plugged in.
I've been fascinated with this show called "Opposite Worlds" on Syfy lately. It's an interesting concept where one team lives in the past and the other lives in the future. The teams can switch positions depending on if they win certain challenges... and most of the Future stuff can be bought in stores already! What Ryuu and I really are jealous of are the super fancy showers and the temperature controlled beds. Of course the gaming stuff would be nice too, but we're still working our way through what we have. . . well, sorta.
My current crafty stuff? Well, I have made a few more cross stitch patterns that I am eager to try out. My last attempt apparently looked like an elf instead of mistletoe... we may put that bookmark up for purchase soon. One of my friends is getting married soon, so I need to think up something awesome for her, and one of Ryuu's coworkers is having a baby. I think I'll teach myself to crochet - and knowing I'm going to regret saying "How hard can it be? I already knit." I'm a little stalled on the Christmas Samplers, but got the ribbon on the bottom of Peanut's Bunnies done this week (Yay!).
Progress Bar:
Sunday Mystery Sampler - on the last week of black, not really tracking by weeks on white but done with angels and going for Mary and Joseph (I'm doing two, one with each pattern - black is MSII, White is MS)
Peanut's - ~24%? (about to start the bottom Bunny and block )
BooBoo's - not started
Gale of Darkness - 50% story with lots more to go
